The Tractor Technician is a permanent, full-time position. You will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Technician/Mechanics and Tractor Technician/Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections prescribing the correct remedial action. Qualifications: Must be a Licensed Tractor Technician Experience working on tractors as a Heavy Equipment Apprentice or Technician Previous experience and qualification to perform Safeties are considered mandatory in this position Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities Ability to provide superior customer service to our Drivers Support and encourage Apprentices throughout their apprenticeship Basic level computer skills (paperless work order entry) Class 5 Driver’s License Ability to work unsupervised Bison Transport invests in the best equipment and the best people to work on our growing tractor and trailer fleet.
