WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH You will work with our Private Equity department which manages a portfolio of approximately $30+ billion in global private equity investments. Investments include direct investments in private companies as well as partnerships with leading private equity firms. The portfolio is expected to grow significantly over the coming years, with an increased emphasis on direct investments. The role will be in the Reporting & Analytics group embedded within the Private Equity broader team. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING You will assist the Private Equity Analytics team in driving investment decision-making and providing valuable insights on our private equity portfolio companies and funds. This involves ensuring that timely analysis and reporting is available to support and challenge investment decisions and having a deep understanding of where value can be derived from the portfolio. Help drive continuous improvement in our portfolio monitoring and analytics processes, leveraging technology, AI and best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Test existing AI tools on emerging business cases. Identify opportunities to utilize the existing data stack. Connect insights from highly confidential unstructured data with the existing enterprise data platform outputs. Assist with analyzing sources of return within the portfolio, identifying key drivers of value and areas for return enhancement and risk mitigation. Assist with monitoring portfolio and fund performance against relevant benchmarks, highlighting areas of outperformance and underperformance, and recommending actions to enhance returns. Through advanced analytics and a deep understanding of the technology, provide real-time insights into assets that may be appropriate to sell and where to access liquidity.
