Pay rate: $25 per hour
Shifts Available: Monday to Friday 10pm – 6:30am

What you’ll do:
Responsible for the maintenance and repair of equipment in the Coating Department as below:
Work to resolve Coating equipment issues by means of troubleshooting and repair.
Understands Hoya AR Coating process / SOP’s
Has well-rounded knowledge and understanding of electro-mechanical functionality & systems parts including, but not limited to electronic and computer controls, electrical wiring, mechanical parts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Provides reports describing machine failures and actions taken to repair.
Follows established procedures regarding hazardous chemicals handling, transportation, and disposal.
Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.
Follows HOYA’s and established regulatory safety regulations when working on equipment.
Qualifications:
Technical, mechanical diploma or similar fields required
Course work or experience troubleshooting equipment electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic operations required.
Ability to test equipment to identify failure point and develop plan to repair equipment in a short period of time. Ability to use tools to assemble and disable equipment following all safety regulations
Sufficient Physical ability necessary for sitting and standing for extended periods of time. The ability to Climb, Kneel, Lift, Pull, Reach, Push, Carry and Twist. Must be able to use hands to Grasp and manipulate small objects. Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 20 LBS and on occasion up to 100 LBS.
Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
