Responsibilities Strategic Planning Conducting Research and Analysis: o Gather and analyze data on market trends, competitors, and internal operations. o Perform SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Developing Strategic Plans: o Collaborate with executives to define the organization’s vision, mission, and objectives. o Design and propose short- and long-term plans to achieve business objectives. Identifying Opportunities for Growth: o Evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, or expansion possibilities. o Provide recommendations on investments or cost-saving initiatives based on analysis. Facilitating Cross-Departmental Collaboration: o Work with different teams (e.g., marketing, finance, operations) to align strategies and ensure cohesion in the organization's objectives. Monitoring and Evaluating Progress: o Track the performance of strategic initiatives and key performance indicators (KPIs). o Adjust strategies based on progress reports and changing business conditions. Risk Management: o Identify potential risks that could impact the execution of the strategic plan. o Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies. Stakeholder Communication: o Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for leadership to communicate the progress of strategic initiatives. o Facilitate workshops or strategy sessions with key stakeholders. Advising Leadership: o Provide insights and guidance to senior management regarding business direction, market shifts, and competitive positioning. Business Case Management • Acts as project leader for key initiatives to develop business cases across cross functional teams • Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for strategic initiatives. Stakeholder Management • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights, facilitating effective communication and coordination. • Provide regular updates on project status, milestones achieved, and upcoming activities. • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Strategic Management, or a related field. • Between three (3) to five (5) years of experience in consulting and/or project management with a good knowledge of strategic planning • Previous experience in strategic planning, project coordination, or a similar role is preferred. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools. • Previous experience in transport, logistics operations or supply chain management is a plus Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Reporting: Ability to summarize complex and multidisciplinary data into comprehensive executive reporting.
