Job Title: Apprentice 3 & Journeyperson Pipefitters

Schedule: Travel up Sept 11 - 29 (2 back to back shutdowns in Conklin & Fox
Creek)
Accommodations: LOA $180.00-$250.00
Travel: 3 Hours travel in and out
Locations to be Supported: Anzac area, AB

Position Summary
We are seeking Journeyman Pipefitters to work 2 back to back shutdowns at a
jobsite near Conklin & Fox Creek, AB. The successful candidate will report to
the site supervisor.
Other responsibilities include:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on quality.
- Calculating weight of materials and/or spools to ensure proper equipment is
used.
- Reading and interpreting client and company-supplied construction fabrication
drawings and specifications.
- Measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, bending, and assembling and
installing piping, valves, and fittings.
- Joining pipe sections/related equipment and securing position.
- Using testing equipment to check systems for leaks.
- Complying with ONEC’s and client safety policies and procedures.
- Must be receptive to working with short notice for call outs, nights, and
overtime upon client request.
- Operating machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts
required during overhaul, maintenance, or set-up of machinery.
- Cleaning, lubricating, and performing other routine maintenance work on
machinery.
- Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power
tools and welding equipment.

- Trade Journeyperson
- Knowledge and experience of industry related safe work practices.
- Previous industrial & Shutdown experience considered an asset.
- CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, ESC H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection.
- You MUST have First Day (2days)
- Able to work well in a team environment.
- Organized and self-motivated.
- Must be capable of physical labour.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet quality standards.
- Organizational and time management skills.
