Location: Queen Margaret’s School – Duncan, BC
Position Type: Casual, Part-Time
Queen Margaret’s School is looking for a flexible driver to cover school bus routes when other drivers are away, on weekends, or for special events. Perfect for a retired driver looking for occasional part-time work.
About the Shifts
Salt Spring Island – 6:30–8:30 am & 2:30–7:30 pm
Lake Cowichan – 6:00–8:15 am & 2:30–5:00 pm (extra run possible)
Nanaimo – 5:15/5:30–8:15 am & 2:30–5:30/6:00 pm
South (Mill Bay area) – 6:30–8:30 am & 2:30–6:00 pm
Occasional weekends – trips, activities, ferry and airport pickups
Note: These runs are not every day. We’re looking for someone willing to learn all the routes and step in when needed.
Requirements
Valid Class 2 BC Driver’s Licence (Air Brake not required)
Clean driver’s abstract
Able to pass a criminal record check (vulnerable sector)
Friendly, dependable, and comfortable working with kids
Flexible with hours (occasional mornings, afternoons, weekends)
