The Granite Club is looking for casual Birthday Party Hosts to facilitate and implement Kids’ Birthday Parties at the Granite Club.

Primary Responsibilities
Check in with Kidzone/The Hub ½ hour before party starts
Check the party detail sheet and function sheet for information about the party
Set up all décor and equipment needed for party
Ensure the room is neat and tidy before, during and after each party
Set out all assigned snacks
Introduce yourself to all the children and get to know their names
Maintain communication with parents throughout the party
Explain and reinforce safety rules
Be prepared with age appropriate organized games and activities
Coordinate travel to other areas of the Club quietly
Participate in activities e.g. swimming
Assist with food service
Assist members to carry gifts to their car
Ensure food is removed from the room
Write your comments or details of the party on the bottom of the party detail sheet and leave it in the office for the Supervisor
Other duties as assigned or required.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of grade 12
1-2 years of experience working with youth in a related field.
Knowledge of age appropriate activities for youth 10 years and under
Excellent verbal and written skills in English
First Aid and CPR certification is an asset
Flexible to work variable shifts; evenings, weekends and holidays
