We are a leading supplier in the packaging industry, specializing in seals and buckles for steel and plastic strapping solutions. Our products ensure secure, efficient packaging for a wide range of industries. Headquartered in London, Ontario, we are expanding our reach and seeking a dynamic sales professional to drive growth not only in our core product lines but also in new business segments for high-volume, small metal parts.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales within North America, with supplemental account development in Europe.
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share for seals and buckles used in steel and plastic strapping.
Develop and maintains effective working relationships with customers and suppliers while gaining an understanding of their businesses, organization, and needs.
Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing the annual sales budget; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Implements sales programs by developing sales actions.
Utilizes a high level of self-direction to plan sales calls with appropriate frequency & priority. Communicate activities effectively to sales staff & other departments to ensure consistent shared knowledge base.
Plays a lead role in enhancing ongoing relationships, developing growth with existing customers and targeting new accounts consistent with the overall sales strategy. Leads the effective implementation of new programs and products.
Identify and pursue new opportunities in high-volume, small metal parts markets.
Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular site visits, presentations, and technical support.
Collaborate with internal teams (operations, quality and customer service) to deliver effective solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive analysis.
Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.
Meet and exceed sales targets while maximizing profitability.
Qualifications
5+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in industrial packaging, metal components, or related manufacturing sectors.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand product applications.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel extensively across North America (up to 50–60%); occasional travel to Europe required.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
