Product Analyst – Fixed Income and Cash

You want to play a crucial role in the development and management of investment products and provide analytical support to the Product team, assisting in the design, development, and ongoing enhancements of our product offerings. Your insights and analysis will help shape strategic decisions and ensure our products meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
· Support fixed income and cash product strategy through performance monitoring, attribution analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
· Prepare analysis on fund flows, industry data, and competitor activity specific to fixed income and cash categories.
· Work with the product and marketing teams, portfolio managers and sub-advisors on developing support materials for our fixed income and cash products including but not limited to, fund commentaries and other related fund updates, whitepapers and email campaigns
· Researching new product ideas and market trends and communicating these trends to the firm.
· Assist in the development of new investment products from concept to launch, including drafting of product proposals and coordinating with necessary stakeholders.
· Participate in process enhancement exercises to automate, improve and support the firm's efforts across the business
· Assist in responding to client inquiries in a timely manner and prepare materials for client presentations and reports.
· Help prepare presentation materials for management meetings and client presentations
· Assist management on ad hoc projects as needed
Qualifications:
· University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field
· Progress towards CFA designation (Level I or higher) or other relevant postgraduate accreditation strongly preferred.
· 1 to 3 years of experience in an asset management, financial services, or a related field
· Strong analytical and quantitative skills
· Familiarity with fixed income analytics (e.g., duration, convexity, yield curves, credit ratings, spread analysis).
· Experience with performance measurement and attribution for fixed income portfolios is an asset.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying complex information in a clear manner as the role requires communication with various teams including Portfolio managers, Sales, Marketing, and Legal
· Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
· Ability to work under stress in time sensitive situation
· Knowledge in using Bloomberg terminal and API
· Knowledge in the Financial market, and interest in new Technological innovations
· Knowledge in python, SQL, VBA or other programming languages is considered an asset
