On-Premise Territory Manager
This person needs to be based in Lower Mainland (Fraser Valley) - for example Langley, Surrey, Port Moody, Burnaby or New Westminister ideally.
We are seeking a passionate and driven wine enthusiast to join our BC On-Premise Sales Team as the Territory Manager for the Lower Mainland. This role services the municipalities east of Vancouver, as well as Bowen Island and the Sunshine Coast.
As the local ambassador for esteemed B.C. wineries such as Black Hills Estate, Tinhorn Creek Vineyards, Sandhill Winery, Red Rooster Winery, and Gray Monk Estate Winery, you will be instrumental in growing our presence and strengthening relationships within this important region.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the BC Sales Manager, you will be accountable for:
Maintaining strong relationships and business with an established account base
Hunting new opportunities to grow territory volume and revenue
Leveraging CRM and analytics tools to manage accounts and uncover insights for growth
Conducting in-person meetings with wine buyers, restaurant owners, and managers
Sharing knowledge of our wines, estates, and industry trends with trade partners
Providing frequent communication, follow-up, and exceptional service to accounts
Leading staff trainings and hosting consumer-facing events
Collaborating with APL teammates across departments to deliver results
Managing budgets effectively and responsibly
Supporting other duties and initiatives as required
What You Bring
Previous sales experience in the beverage alcohol industry (preferred)
Restaurant, Hospitality or Retail experience is an asset
Wine knowledge; WSET Level 2 or above an preferred but not required
Self-motivated, driven, and goal-focused
Strong professional communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience with Microsoft applications and CRM platforms
Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
Proven track record of building long-lasting customer relationships
Solutions-oriented mindset with adaptability to changing business needs
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and events outside of regular business hours
This is a field sales role requiring daily travel. Candidate must reside within the territory.
