Moosomin, Saskatchewan.

The P&H Grain Division is a comprehensive grain and crop input network,
operating across approximately 45 locations in the prairie provinces and
Ontario. Our strategically positioned facilities, including grain elevators,
rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals, ensure that we

YOUR ROLE
As the Crop Inputs Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the
development and operation of a profitable crop inputs business. This position
will report to the General Manager and will work closely with Customer Service
Representatives and the facility staff to ensure that business is running
efficiently. Your effective leadership skills will provide directions to sales
and operational staff in the implementation and delivery of annual and seasonal
plans.
Day to Day
- Grow the volume of the crop inputs business with existing customers and
proactively seek new business opportunities
- Provide a hands-on approach to the safe and efficient operation of the
chemical and fertilizer sheds
- Monitor, control, and maintain Inventory
- Monitor market developments and updates to determine competitive price
offerings
- Develop annual plans and budgets
- Coach and mentor customer service representatives
- Management and application of credit and collection programs
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role managing or selling crop
inputs
- Diploma or Degree in business, agriculture, or equivalent work experience
- Certified Crop Advisor, P. Ag., or related designation would be an asset
- 1 -2 years’ experience in a supervisory role with previous experience
managing a team
- Thorough knowledge of the crop input and grain business
- Working knowledge of profit and loss statements
- Ability to network and build relationships while providing excellent customer
service
