About the Role:
We're looking for a driven Inside Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in direct sales and account management, especially in hardware and licensing. You'll be responsible for growing and maintaining relationships with our clients and partners across Canada, while closing new business and driving recurring revenue.
This is a remote-first position, but will include occasional in-person visits with clients, vendors, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
Own and grow a book of existing clients while actively pursuing net-new sales opportunities
Sell primarily hardware and licensing solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients
Manage the full sales cycle: quoting, negotiation, closing, and post-sale follow-up
Build strong relationships with vendors, distributors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing
Maintain up-to-date and detailed notes in HubSpot CRM
Provide consistent forecasting and pipeline visibility to sales leadership
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales support, and technical teams to deliver an excellent client experience
What You'll Bring:
3+ years of results-based direct sales and/or account management experience
Strong phone presence and professional online communication skills
Confidence in prospecting, presenting, and closing deals virtually and over the phone
Solid understanding of Microsoft tools (Teams, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Experience working for a reseller, MSP, distributor, or vendor in Canada is highly preferred
Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote environment
Bonus Qualifications:
Active and professional online presence (e.g., LinkedIn)
Proven success in growing hardware and/or licensing sales in a previous role
Familiarity with Canadian IT distribution channels (e.g., Ingram Micro, Tech Data/Synnex, etc.)
