Position Title: Project Manager
Reports To: Simplification Program Vice President
Department: Impact
Term: Temporary Full Time, Twelve (12) Month Contract
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Simplification Program Office. In this role, you will be responsible for project planning and reporting, risk mitigation and stakeholder communication while fostering a collaborative and inclusive project team environment. Projects will include digital initiatives, data enablement, client care centre modernization within the Simplification Program.

What you will be doing:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
Identify and manage Stakeholder expectations
Facilitate regular project team meetings, including meeting minutes, decisions, action items, etc.
Identify and escalate risks and issues related to project milestones / goals
Track project progress and submit regular status reports
Build and monitor implementation and adoption plans
Manage the knowledge transfer from delivery team to support teams and ensure solutions are stable and supportable
Lead and motivate the project team, fostering collaboration and productivity
Apply analytical thinking and problem solving to resolve project obstacles and manage efficiencies in delivery
Understand applicable Governance processes and ensure they’re followed
Foster a sense of belonging within the Simplification Program team members through coordination of knowledge share demos/sessions and events
What you will bring:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience / education in a related field
5+ years of experience in a formal Project Management role
Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or equivalent project management certifications
Experience in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project methodologies
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Demonstrated advanced communication and facilitation skills
Demonstrated relationship skills and ability to work effectively with people at all levels of the organization
Ability to lead organizational change effectively
