What we are looking for: Under the supervision of the Director, Fund Administration, the Senior Analyst, Fund Initiatives is responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing the execution of various operational activities related to Fiera Fund initiatives including, but not limited to, Canadian fund launches, strategic projects and material updates to our global Fund line-up. In addition, the Senior Analyst plays a major role in coordinating the activities of Fiera’s Global Product Governance Committee. Your responsibilities: Play an active role in the coordination of operational activities (planning, organization, coordination, and execution) for various Canadian Fund initiatives, including fund launches, fund closures, opening additional share classes / series and facilitating changes to existing investment mandates Collaborate with various departments such as Legal, CIO Office, Investment Operations, Front Office, Finance and Compliance to understand emerging business and product needs and translate them into solutions Build product project plans, manage timelines and communicate regular updates around Fund launches and other strategic projects with internal and external teams Organize and coordinate meetings, and facilitate the activities of Fiera’s Product Governance Committee Maintain strong working relationships with various third parties such as the Fund Administrator, Recordkeeper and Transfer Agent to ensure timely and seamless execution of projects Determine, validate and prioritize business issues following the launch of new funds and products (procedures, controls, systems, tools, etc.) Ensure new and amended legal documentation related to the Funds is stored and communicated appropriately to internal and external stakeholders Standardize product launch “playbooks” being used across the globe and assist as a secondary resource for Fund launches in Europe and the U.S. Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and for cost/risk reduction Maintain a strong awareness of industry and regulatory developments and changes, assess impact and implement changes where needed to product lineup Produce and present management reporting and metrics related to ongoing fund initiatives with various internal stakeholders Responds to client due diligence questionnaires and prospect RFPs Must have requirements to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree in business administration or another related field Project Management certification a plus Typically has 6+ years of fund administration, investment operations, project management or investment product development experience Experience managing projects and initiatives, and coordinating multi-functional global teams Strong knowledge of a broad range of activities related to Investment Management, Fund Administration and Investment Operations Excellent time management skills, ability to multitask and to establish priorities with minimum supervision Ability to work under pressure and manage unforeseen changes in expectations and requirements Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment Must have a high degree of analytical, project planning and problem-solving skills Positive attitude, willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic global product environment High level of integrity and professionalism #LI-Hybrid For all positions in Quebec (Montreal and Laval), proficiency in French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
