Job Description: Phreesia is seeking a smart, energetic, and highly motivated Senior Product Manager to join our team focused on Payments and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) solutions. In this role, you’ll drive innovative product initiatives that improve how healthcare organizations manage financial workflows, at the point of care through post-visit billing and collections. You will lead initiatives across the full product lifecycle - understanding market dynamics and competitive trends, defining detailed requirements, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, UX, client success, and go-to-market teams. You’ll also work directly with clients and partners to deeply understand their challenges and translate them into impactful product solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with healthcare payments, revenue cycle workflows, or fintech/payment platforms, and a passion for making a difference in healthcare by improving patient financial engagement, operational efficiency, and reimbursement outcomes. This person will be an excellent communicator, great problem solver, high level collaborator, and have a proven track record of mentoring more junior team members. What You’ll Do: Own the vision, strategy, and outcomes for key Payments and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) products, such as core payment processing and payment applications. Define and maintain the product roadmap aligned with Phreesia’s broader RCM strategy—incorporating feedback from clients, partners, and internal teams. Act as a Product Champion across the organization—clearly communicating your product vision and priorities to engineering, client success, marketing, and sales teams. Evaluate optimal approaches to execute on product strategy, including build, buy, or rent. Build – Create detailed product requirements and user stories—ensuring a clear understanding of payment and RCM workflows for engineering and QA teams. Buy or Rent – Identify and select vendor(s) who can reduce time-to-market and create more value for Phreesia, our customers, and patients. Find innovative ways to use Artificial Intelligence to be more efficient and effective in the role and to deliver better RCM outcomes. Drive go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches in collaboration with Product Marketing, Implementation, Client Success, and Support teams. Collaborate with finance, compliance, legal, and security teams to ensure products meet HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and other regulatory standards. Build and justify business cases for new capabilities and product enhancements, grounded in data and client impact, including ROI, operational efficiencies, and revenue lift. Partner with client-facing teams to provide product training, documentation, and support that enhances adoption and satisfaction. Proactively manage escalations, triage production issues, and drive prioritization of bug fixes and product improvements in collaboration with engineering and support. Engage with clients and partners to gather insights, validate product direction, and ensure solutions meet the needs of providers, staff, and patients in the payment journey. Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in healthcare finance and digital payments. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s Degree Required At least 5 years of product management experience, preferably in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment using Agile development methodologies Domain expertise in healthcare Payments, Revenue Cycle Management, or FinTech, including experience with payment processors, EMV certifications, kernel integrations, and chip transaction flows Strong working knowledge of PCI-DSS standards. Experience with HIPAA and healthcare regulations a plus. Demonstrated success driving product initiatives involving PCI compliance, credit card processing, or revenue cycle management Experience delivering payment solutions (POS, payment terminals, payment gateways, or SDKs) and collaborating with payment companies, such as processors or card networks Experience leading product initiatives across multiple cross-functional teams, ideally including client success, finance, compliance, legal, and security Strong analytical mindset with the ability to define KPIs and leverage data to inform prioritization and product evolution Passion for making a difference in healthcare and improving access to and affordability of care Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including comfort with client-facing roles Previous experience mentoring or coaching junior product managers is a plus Ability to travel up to twice per year to the U.S. for internal meetings and periodically meet face to face with customers and partners.
