We are seeking a strategic and creative Content and Communications Manager to
join our marketing team at DealMaker. This role will be responsible for
developing and executing innovative content strategies that drive both brand
awareness and demand generation, while leading our executive thought leadership
and social media initiatives.
What You'll Do
Content Strategy & Development

Develop and execute quarterly marketing content strategies aligned with
business objectives and target audience needs

Create compelling, multi-format content including blog posts, whitepapers,
case studies, web copy, email campaigns, and sales enablement materials

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content supports both brand
positioning and demand generation programs

Maintain content calendar and ensure consistent brand voice across all
marketing materials

Analyze content performance metrics and optimize strategies based on
data-driven insights
Brand Awareness & Demand Generation

Develop and execute a strategic plan to utilize content and communications to
elevate the DealMaker brand across owned, earned and paid channels.

Align corporate brand initiatives with executive brands (CEO/Founders) to
drive awareness and build up their profiles as industry thought leaders.

Partner with demand generation team to create content that supports lead
generation and nurturing campaignsSupport integrated marketing campaigns with
compelling copy and creative direction

Ensure all communications maintain brand consistency and adhere to brand
guidelines
Executive Communications & Thought Leadership

Lead the development and execution of executive thought leadership strategy

Craft executive content including bylined articles, speaking proposals,
industry commentary, and executive social media content

Manage executive communication workflows and approval processes

Identify and secure thought leadership opportunities including speaking
engagements, podcast appearances, and industry panels

Build relationships with key industry publications and media contacts
Social Media & Digital Communications

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategy across relevant
platforms

Create and curate engaging social content that amplifies brand messaging and
thought leadership

Monitor social media trends and industry conversations to identify engagement
opportunities

Manage social media editorial calendar and posting schedules

Track and report on social media performance and engagement metrics
What You Have
Experience & Education
-
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or
related field

4-6 years of experience in marketing communications, content marketing, or
related field

Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies
-
Experience with B2B marketing and demand generation preferred
Skills & Competencies

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (samples required)

Experience with executive communications and thought leadership development

Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
and deadlines

Proficiency in content management, social media, and marketing automation
systems/tools

Creative thinking with ability to translate complex concepts into compelling,

Technical Requirements

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace

Experience using common CMS platforms (Webflow or similar)

Familiarity with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or
similar)

Basic understanding of marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Marketo,
Pardot, or similar)

Knowledge of design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) preferred

Analytics tools experience (Google Analytics, social media analytics)
