GCR operates 9 Stores, 2 Bandag Retread Plants, and 5 Off-The-Road Tire Repair Facilities in 5 states, along with managing tire programs at several remote mine locations. Job Category Retail Position Summary Produce high-quality retread tires by performing a variety of tasks according to established standards and procedures. Ensure product quality and efficiency through adherence to safety guidelines and company policies. Pay Range: $17.00 - $34.00 Commission Eligible Responsibilities Inspect tire casings to assess condition and determine necessary repairs. Prepare tire casings for retreading by applying rubber compounds and hanging to dry. Operate curing equipment to vulcanize retread tires. Conduct quality control inspections to ensure product meets specifications. Trim and paint finished retreads. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Participate in training and development opportunities. Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies. Minimum Qualifications Previous experience in manufacturing or tire industry preferred. Physical ability to lift up to 150 pounds with or without mechanical assistance. Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Attention to detail and focus on quality. Basic math and measurement skills. High school diploma or equivalent. Pre-employment drug test, physical exam, and background check required.
