What We Need
Corpay is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Analyst I within our Cross Borders division to handle enterprise-level projects within our Corporate Payments line of business. As a Senior Tax Analyst I at Corpay Cross-Border, you will be an integral part of the global tax department. You will have the opportunity to work on value added projects including tax compliances, transfer pricing, tax advisory and restructuring. Corpay Cross-Border is headquartered in Toronto, Canada and operates in North America, UK, Europe and APAC regions. You will report directly to the Director of Tax in (Toronto) and regularly collaborate with international tax teams and regional finance departments to ensure our corporate tax processes are adhering to industry best practices and compliance.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Assist in preparation of annual corporate tax provisions and corporate income tax returns for Corpay Cross-border entities inclusive of North America, Europe, Asia, and AU region
Preparation federal and provincial tax installment calculations and making timely remittances
Preparation of GST, VAT, FBT and local indirect tax returns
Assist in preparation of detailed responses for corporate tax audits, international tax audits and VAT audits conducted by various tax authorities for Corpay Cross-border entities
Communicate as necessary with tax authorities across various jurisdictions to ensure tax returns are assessed and payments are applied correctly
Assist in collating information for annual transfer pricing reports, master file documentation and country-by-country reporting
Preparation of monthly transfer pricing calculations, tax accrual entries and reviewing month end trial balances
Preparation of monthly tax reconciliations, cash tax payment schedules and quarterly balance sheet variance analysis
Conducting tax related research for tax planning, and other inquiries
Prepare miscellaneous tax forms and other tax compliance for all global entities (including W8, W9, 1099s and other forms)
File, maintain and organize tax files and records
Work on special projects and assist with ad hoc requests
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a big 4 accounting firm and/or corporate tax function of a multinational corporation
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field
CA or CPA designation or a master’s degree in taxation is preferred
Strong self-starter with strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
Superior verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to clearly explain complex tax and business issues.
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Proficient in Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI and accounting software’s
