We are seeking an experienced, polished, and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to oversee the day-to-day execution of banquet operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring the highest level of service and member satisfaction during private events, weddings, corporate functions, and club-hosted gatherings.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all floor operations during banquets and events.
Lead and motivate banquet staff to deliver exceptional member and guest experiences.
Ensure event spaces are properly set up and broken down according to club standards and event specifications.
Oversee bar setup and breakdown for events, ensuring appropriate inventory, cleanliness, and presentation.
Monitor beverage inventory levels before, during, and after events; communicate needs to management and assist with inventory tracking and reporting.
Ensure accurate billing of food and beverage for each event, including proper documentation of bar consumption and additional charges.
Act as a point of contact for hosts and vendors during events to ensure smooth execution and real-time problem-solving.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation in all banquet and beverage service areas.
Collaborate with the culinary, bar, and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and execution.
Manage staffing schedules, monitor labor costs, and assist in training and onboarding of new team members.
Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in banquet or event management, preferably in a private club, hotel, or fine dining environment.
Proven experience managing bar operations during events, including setup, inventory, and billing.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail and a passion for hospitality.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Serving It Right certification.
Jonas or other POS experience preferred, however not necessary.
Transportation to our location is difficult. Employees need ample time if relying on public transit, or their own vehicles.
