CLEANING SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follow and ensure the implementation of all policies and procedures set by Fallsview Indoor Waterpark and Canadian Niagara Hotels.
Ensure a high standard of cleanliness of the Waterpark while providing courteous and quality customer service to guests.
With support from the Cleaning Manager provide leadership and direction to the Cleaning department staff members.
Assist the Cleaning Manager with administrative duties as assigned.
Maintain an open line of communication with the management staff at the Waterpark.
Resolve issues, which require the interpretation of policies and procedures.
Ability to train, supervise, direct, motivate, and encourage staff, while building a sustainable positive and constructive team environment.
Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: 3+ years’ relevant experience preferred
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Hands on approach to staff supervision, provide support and assistance as needed.
Have a working familiarity with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations,
Employment Standards Act, WHMIS and other employment and health and safety legislation as it pertains to the workplace.
Excellent interpersonal, supervisor, leadership, customer service, problem solving, organization and time management skills.
Basic computer skills – familiar with Word and Excel programs.
Ability to work different shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, as business demands require.
