Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this opportunity is perfect for the heavy industrial professional who is looking to grow their career with an industry leader. What You'll Get to Do Plan and optimize maintenance activities for fixed plant equipment, including shutdown strategies and long-term planning. Analyze maintenance data (reports, work orders, history) to improve scheduling, procedures, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks. Manage parts procurement and CMMS usage to support transparent and effective maintenance planning. Support budgeting, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement while maintaining compliance with safety and workplace policies. What We Are Looking For: Technical Background: Journeyperson Trade Certificate or Technical Diploma preferred; engineering experience (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or Process) is an asset. Industrial Maintenance Expertise: Strong knowledge of heavy industry operations, safety, and maintenance planning, with hands-on craft skills (Millwright, Welding, Electrical). Project & System Proficiency: Skilled in project planning (Gantt charts), CMMS usage, and managing multiple projects with effective documentation and record keeping. Diagnostic & Analytical Skills: Experience with condition-based monitoring (oil/vibration analysis), interpreting OEM manuals, and sourcing parts from various vendors. Communication & Leadership: Strong verbal/written communication skills with the ability to train, mentor, and collaborate effectively across teams Work Environment: Role operates in an office and manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.
