Cardinal Health-Gananoque is looking for a positive and team-oriented individuals to join our Gananoque manufacturing center as a Facilities Janitor to support the production department. Under the supervision of Production Supervisor, the primary purpose of this position is to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the entire plant, both inside and outside. Hours: Shifts will run on a 2 week basis from 7am to 7pm for days then from 7pm to 7am, for the night shift Location: Gananoque, Ont Your Contributions to the Organization will be: Primary functions include but are not limited to: Ensure scrap is removed from all production machines Responsible for facility cleaning, such as washrooms, First Aid Room, and Lunch room, etc. Disposing of waste materials plant wide, includes using the Compacter External cleaning duties such as yard, parking lot and other maintenance, shovelling snow and salting pathways Ensure a sufficient inventory of cleaning supplies is maintained Collect recycling from all production offices, lunchroom and recycling centers daily Inspect and report on eye wash station, pest control, eye glass cleaning station etc Clean floors in production and general plant areas.
