The Business Integration and Communications Department is seeking a curious, proactive, and collaborative individual to join us as a Business Integration Advisor in a temporary role that places you at the center of key initiatives. You’ll work closely with managers and employees across the Member and Client Relations Division—a dynamic team of 2,500 employees, including 200 managers. Your role will be to support and prepare Ontario, Alberta and Western regions (OAW) distribution teams to the various changes to their daily work in landing phase communication. Your deep understanding of the insurance sector, combined with your ability to communicate clearly and effectively, will be essential in shaping and delivering targeted communications and workshops, supporting operational alignment, and contributing to the success of high-impact projects. More specifically, you will be required to: Lead the landing of key initiatives, designing and executing the best strategy for the context Act as a trusted advisor to clients and partners by developing and implementing communication plans, strategies, and tools that support business objectives and foster engagement Create compelling content by designing communication tools, writing and editing articles, and proofreading materials that inform, inspire, and connect with diverse audiences Contribute to strategic direction by helping shape orientations, policies, and standards that guide the unit and its clients through transformation Bring people together by organizing events, programs, and special projects that build awareness, celebrate milestones, and support change initiatives Represent the department with professionalism and influence in interactions with partners, external organizations, and committees—ensuring consistent messaging and strong relationships Support strategic communications by developing tools and acting as an expert resource for teams across the division, especially on high-impact files and initiatives Drive change integration by collaborating with project promoters to prioritize activities, coordinate rollout strategies, and assess readiness and adoption across teams What we offer Competitive salary and annual bonus 4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first year Defined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirement Group insurance including telemedicine Reimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment Benefits apply based on eligibility criteria. What you bring to the table Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications or a related field A minimum of four years of relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Strategic communications experience in a large organization Knowledge of French is required Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients Expert knowledge in creating and executing communication plans and tools Intermediate knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance Advanced knowledge in writing communications Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft 365 Intermediate knowledge in change management tools and methods Action oriented, Business insight, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning Desjardins it's a world of career possibilities.
