Overview of the Role This position is responsible of taking in charge and maintaining 600HP & 300 HP Fire Tube Boilers and related equipment in the Saskatoon Operation on a 12-hour rotating schedule, in a 24/7 operation. The position reports to the Power Engineer, the Maintenance Manager & works closely with other maintenance staff. Salary $47.36 per hour How you will make contributions that matter: 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate and refrigeration ticket is required or; 3rd class Power Engineering Certificate would be an asset; Experience on High Pressure boilers; Ammonia Refrigeration experience would be an asset; Mechanical Background would be an asset (Small pump seal repair, electric motor replacement, Belt and pully repair); HVAC troubleshooting would be an asset Plumbing: soldering copper, threading pipe, PVC assembly would be an asset. Food industry experience; Excellent trouble shooting skills; Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; High level of self-motivation and initiative; Experience in a HACCP environment would be an asset; Dependable with a good attendance; Standard First-Aid, TDG, Confined Space Entry, Forklift, would be an asset.
