JOB SUMMARY
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic supervisor to support staff in providing exceptional and memorable dining experiences for our guests, and assist management with overseeing the Front of House operations. This supervisor will maintain a positive and respectful relationship with team members, engage with guests in a professional, dignified manner, and assist management with potential service and product issues before they arise.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Develop enthusiastically satisfied guests all of the time
Maintain quality outlet operations, organizing work throughout all outlets
Coaching new hires, assisting in scheduling and adjusting staffing to meet business needs
Acting as a role model and providing training to employees
Following health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
Performing and supervising others in cleaning and operational tasks
Following and showing others standards for merchandising, stocking, rotation and storing of products
Contributing to department goals for increasing sales and improving products
Assisting with accounting and banking responsibilities, recording and being accountable for outlet funds while running a shift
Ensuring all cash handling and cash register functions are accurate
Maintaining accountability for outlet operations
Other duties as required
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is responsible for directly supervising the Casual Dining Team Members during a shift.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES
Successful completion of secondary school
Must have Food Safe Level 1
Must have Serving It Right certificate before employment begins as well as be legal age for serving alcohol in British Columbia (19)
Previous experience supervising staff in a quick service restaurant environment or tourism industry preferred
Experience handling cash and supervising cash out procedures
Excellent organization and guest service skills
Strong Microsoft Office & business communication skills required
Ability to work flexible hours
Successful candidate must complete a criminal record check once offered the position, before start date (19 years of age or over. Grouse Mountain will assist you with the process)
WORKING CONDITIONS
Hours of Operation are weather dependant. Due to the nature of the business, this position requires flexibility in terms of your work schedule. A variety of work schedules may include a variety of start times, including shifts on weekends and statutory holidays. Shifts require standing for long periods of time, lifting, twisting, and other forms of manual tasks.

$20.94/hour
