Configuration Support Specialist
Join the Configuration team in a pivotal role designed to drive operational accuracy and system efficiency across our manufacturing processes. As the Configuration Support Specialist, you’ll be the team’s dedicated expert in managing the administrative and transactional workload within Infor LN. The position will also be responsible for procedure writing, transactional problem solving, as well as liaising between the warehouse, NPI and Process Support. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations, supporting cross-functional collaboration, and solving system-related challenges that impact production flow.

What the job is all about:
Generate and distribute picking sheets and validate line items for accuracy, issue all sales order line items and maintain records
Monitor progress of order fulfillment and escalate fulfillment issues as necessary
Ensure that sales order data, fulfillment status, inventory records, and picking documents are accurate and up-to-date in LN
Track and reconcile stock serialization items, ensuring availability for order fulfillment
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, audits, and reporting
Demonstrated knowledge of LN processes and procedures – this includes high level knowledge of specific LN sessions and the processes behind using these sessions
Participate in process reviews and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, or automation of fulfillment workflows in Infor LN
Work closely with Configuration Supervisors and guide the Configuration Team on new process changes where appropriate, identifying reasons for change, as well as providing technical details
Liaise with LN/Infor representatives, other LN SME’s and relevant department primes to troubleshoot issues within the LN system
Work closely with the NPI team if product structure and/or serialization issues prevent orders from processing properly or fail to adhere to policies and procedures
Who you are:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) or equivalent tools; familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to resolve discrepancies under time constraints
Highly reliable with a solid sense of ownership
Thrive working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, flexible to shifting priorities
Occasionally handles equipment setup involving lifting up to 50 lbs
Operates in a manufacturing setting with moderate noise
