Location: Kingston, ON
Pay & Schedule: $22.61/hour | Full-Time | Continental Rotation: 0800-2000 / 2000-0800
About the Role:

In this role, you’ll be part of a highly trained team ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors in a healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a professional, visible, and reassuring security presence.
Greet, assist, and direct visitors, staff, and patients courteously.
Protect clients, property, and assets while upholding hospital policy and safety standards.
Conduct interior and exterior patrols to ensure a safe environment.
Respond to emergencies, incidents, and alarms, providing detailed reports.
Perform patient watches, access control, parking enforcement, and monthly safety inspections.
Collaborate with hospital staff and emergency responders as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-Have Qualifications:
Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
Valid First Aid & CPR – Level C (WSIB-approved).
Ability to be clean-shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (minimum double dose).
A copy of immunization records (MMR, Varicella, Pertussis, TB Skin Test – Step 1 & 2).
Full-time availability with a minimum 6-month commitment.
Legally authorized to work in Canada.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
6+ months security experience (healthcare or non-healthcare).
Bilingualism (English/French) an asset.
6+ months customer service experience.
Ability to provide Stay Safe certification or willingness to complete it (Paladin covers costs).
Note: The Stay Safe certification is a pre-requisite and not paid, but Paladin Security covers all associated costs with a 6-month availability commitment.
