POSITION SUMMARY:
The Power Bi & Power Platforms Developer bridges the gap between business needs and technology by transforming raw data into meaningful reports and automating business processes to improve operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making
Key Responsibilities and Skills:
Solution design and development
Design and develop custom business applications using PowerApps (Canvas and Model-Driven).
Create automated workflows and optimize processes with Power Automate.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide actionable data insights.
Connect and integrate data from multiple sources including SQL Server, Excel, and other structured/unstructured data systems.
Build and manage data models and ensure data integrity.
Collaboration and requirements gathering
Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and pain points.
Act as a technical contact for senior management and end-users, providing strategic reporting support.
Technical management and support
Maintain and update existing Power Bi and Power Automate Solution.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Power Bi and Power Automate Solution.
Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and follow best practices.
Provide training and technical support to end-users.
Documentation and best practices
Create detailed technical documentation for developed applications.
Stay updated with the latest features and best practices in the Power Platform.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Proficiency in data modeling, DAX calculations, and Power Query.
Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehouse concepts.
Knowledge of data integration techniques and tools.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) configurations, particularly within manufacturing processes is an asset
Prior experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems is an asset
Hands-on experience with RSAT in D365 environments is an asset.

Standard Hours of Work
Common work schedule is Monday through Friday – 8:30am to 5:00pm
