We are looking for a Project Engineer to support our transmission projects across Canada. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, and other stakeholders to plan, coordinate, and deliver safe, efficient, and high quality projects.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Support project planning, estimating, and budget preparation
Develop material and construction specifications for transmission projects
Prepare design packages, material take offs, and procurement requisitions
Track material deliveries, inventory, and documentation
Coordinate purchase orders, packing slips, and expense submissions
Maintain project schedules, progress reports, and quality records
Assist with project change orders, including cost and schedule updates
Provide technical support to field teams during construction
Liaise between project operations and the corporate office to keep information flowing
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or related Engineering field
2-8 years of relevant engineering or project experience
Experience with transmission line design and familiarity with PLS CADD
Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is an asset
