Animal Medical Centre South is a one-of-a-kind health care provider. We are looking for an Associate Veterinarian and a team-player to join our growing clinic We cater to birds, cows, horses as well as small animals like cats and dogs. Caring for your pet can be like caring for a child. We understand the bond you have with them, and we offer a variety of medical services to treat them, including exams, surgery, and therapeutic services. Together, our team has a wide range of expertise.
Our focus on the wellbeing of domesticated pets and farm animals started in 2012, when AMC South was established. The goal has always been to treat animals of all sizes. Since then, we’ve organized a team of passionate doctors with their own set of special interests to contribute. With the addition of a certified rehabilitation veterinarian and another certified in acupuncture, we are offering more services every day. We strive to create an environment that feels safe and reassuring for pet owners and their animal companions.
AMC South was voted Best Veterinary Clinic at the Medicine Hat News Readers' Choice Awards (2019, 2020 and 2021). Our summers are busy and dynamic - and we are looking for an Associate DVM that could step in on a regular basis and provide quality care to our dedicated clients. We believe in the highest standard for medicine and are well equipped, with a digital dental x-ray machine and many diagnostic/blood work equipment. Provincial DVM licensing, or eligibility to be licensed
