Our In Situ BP&A team is seeking an advisor with a strong technical background to support our MacKay River and In Situ consolidations. This role is pivotal in delivering performance analysis, stewardship, and business planning that drives cost optimization and process excellence across our finance operations. We are looking for someone who can translate complex information into validated insights and solutions. You'll have the opportunity to influence change while providing performance analysis, stewardship, and business planning to help drive cost and finance process improvement. Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 8 years of relevant financial & analytical experience. A bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, economics, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Tools in particular: Power Bi and Power Query, SAC Systems and/or other financial tools. Strong interpersonal & influencing skills with proven success in business partnering outside of finance. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data storytelling and trend identification. Responsibilities: Build monthly performance analysis, stewardship reporting, and support for key financial processes. Provide valuable insights and support business leaders through month-end results, budgeting, forecasting, and business planning. Help budget owners in driving financial discipline, setting performance metrics & enable data-informed decision making. Develop an understanding of overall financial picture, key business drivers and business challenges. Steward financial progress on discrete programs and initiatives. Identify and participate in cross-functional performance improvement projects. Leverage tools like Power BI, Power Query and SAC Systems to simplify complex datasets into clear, visual insights. Location and other Key Details: This is an office-based role. You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 –6th Ave S.W. Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday.
