Position Overview:
Working an average of 44 hours per week in a shop setting, you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees, schedules, organizes, and directs all maintenance and repair activities for the company’s fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role ensures optimal fleet reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance by coordinating preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical issues, and managing timely repairs. The supervisor leads maintenance personnel, maintains shop/yard organization, assigns work orders, and monitors performance to maintain high service standards.
In addition, the position is responsible for maintaining maintenance records, managing parts inventory, and collaborating with operations to minimize downtime. The Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in planning maintenance schedules, ensuring cost-effective operations, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.

Requirements / Preferred Qualifications
Truck and Coach Mechanic (310T) and or Heavy Equipment Mechanic License (421A)
Minimum 5 years experience in repairing and maintaining commercial vehicles and or heavy equipment
Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role.
Proven ability to lead, train, and coordinate a team of technicians.
Effective communicator with solid planning and organizational skills.
Skilled in preventive maintenance scheduling, safety standards, and DOT/MTO compliance.
Diagnostic experience with CAT, Cummins, Detroit, Bendix, Wabco, Haldex, Ford, GM.
Open minded, ambitious and organized
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and minimizing downtime.
Minimum G license, AZ Drivers license preferred
