Position Overview: Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford GTD Mustang. MNVNA is seeking Paint Shop Assistant's who will aid in the daily activities associated with our Automotive Paint Shop. This is a unique and exciting opportunity for candidates who are detail oriented, have strong organizational skills and who are passional about automotive. Duties and Responsibilities: · Follow all established safety procedures · Maintain shop tools and equipment including spray facility · Follow production schedule to move parts in & out of paint booth and designated areas · Mask, cap & plug appropriate areas as required – accuracy is critical · Inspect components during processing stages and overall appearance of finished product · Contribute to managing inventory in a fast-paced environment · Adhering to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work culture · Fixture clean up & foil wrapping · Set up parts on fixtures · Pre-clean parts for Painters outside paint booths · Load / unload booth · Deliver parts to Polish room / Warehouse green rack · Locate parts from prep to bring into masking. · Locate and organize next set of body panels to go into polish room · Movement of chassis (automation to assembly buffer) · Booth Maintenance - 4 manual booths (Vacuum daily + Floor filters every 1 – 1.5 months. ~ 1 booth each week and cycle through) · Inventory put away · Garbage / Carboard disposal · Training will be provided as required.
