We have an Outside Sales Representative opportunity for you!
We’re looking for a Business Development Representative to prospect and build partnerships with new clients while optimizing the existing customer base.
YOUR CHALLENGES
Generate new business opportunities and develop customer relationships within a specific territory;
Present the value of SPI’s products and services.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage existing clients and ensure increased sales and profitability;
Grow market share and develop new profitable clients;
Build and maintain customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close deals;
Develop strategies and action plans, grow active and potential target accounts, and resolve issues;
Promote our value-added solutions (products and services) to both new and existing accounts.
SPECIFIC SUCCESS MEASURES
Revenue growth;
Margin growth (in dollars and percentage);
Growth in CPC (Customer Profitability Tool);
New market share acquisition.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
University degree or equivalent experience;
3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
Experience in occupational health and safety (OHS), ideally in a consulting capacity;
Hunter mindset (new business development);
Experience with indirect sales methods (e.g., managing sales agents or acting as a product specialist);
Experience presenting to senior executives, in consultative selling, and using technology for decision-making;
Experience with CRM software (strong asset);
Valid driver’s license;
Ability to travel.
