About The Opportunity Position Summary This position operates a machine to laminate label stock to corrugated board. Essential Job Functions The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned. Place handfuls of corrugated stock in feed hopper Cut glue mat material to size using table shear Hand loads labels onto label pre-feeder Adjust glue flow using hand tools Set pressure according to stock and label thickness using hand tools Check label placement using overlay Mylar and verify label placement against specification Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machine at available capacity and speed Inspect labels before run to ensure they match specifications, trim and registration Adhere to production schedule in order to meet customer demands · Ensures and supports to make sure Food safety, Quality, HACCP and GMP is always followed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Previous Labeler, Machine, Labeler/Gluer Machine, Helper Etc. Operator Experience Computer Data Entry and Retrieval Related Experience Education & Experience · High School Diploma or Equivalent Physical Requirements & Work Environment Primarily works in a factory and/or warehouse setting Be exposed to dusty conditions, moving machinery, and high noise levels Lifting up to 50lbs on a regular basis , Standing, stooping (Kneeling), walking, and lifting on a daily basis All employees should be aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems.
