The position duties will include, but are not limited to:
Assist toolmakers as needed
Ensure product is moved to proper locations and stacked/stored safely
Wash dies
Follow visual audit inspection on parts
Assist in performing daily inspection of forklift
Suggest ideas for continuous improvement
Follow all Health and Safety regulations and maintain 5S
May be required to make deliveries, and or routine pickups
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to work overtime is required
Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
Basic to intermediate computer skills, Shop Edge experience is an asset
Strong organizational skills
Good communication skills (read, write, and understand in English)
Proven ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Able to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis
Ideal candidate will possess:
Valid drivers licence
Experience in a tool room
