Senior Quality Manager Company: Boeing Canada Operations Ltd Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking a senior Quality Manager, reporting to the Composite Quality Superintendent, to join the Quality team working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office. As the largest composites manufacturer in Canada, Boeing Canada Winnipeg boasts a workforce of over 1,300 talented individuals and an impressive 800,000+ square foot facility dedicated to producing parts for all commercial airplane programs. In this strategic role you will set the vision for quality and compliance, drive enterprise-level improvements, and ensure alignment with regulatory, customer, and Boeing quality standards across multiple teams. You’ll coach and inspire front-line managers and technical teams, lead cross-functional problem solving for complex quality issues, and champion data-driven initiatives that improve reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of aerospace processes, and a passion for operational excellence, as they play a pivotal role in safeguarding Boeing’s reputation for world-class aircraft. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees and first-level managers performing management activities across multiple (2 or more) Quality Management Job Families. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies. Provides education and coaching on the Quality System. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg, Manitoba facility. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of first level management experience with responsibility for direct reports 5+ years of experience leading teams to achieve planned business goals and objectives and improvement activities 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality Experience working within quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), or Aerospace Standard (AS9100) Must be able to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally Must be able to work evening shift and weekend support as per business requirement Must be legally able to work in Canada Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): 3+ years of 2nd level management experience – leading first level managers 3+ years of experience within the aerospace/ aviation industry Experience influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and partnerships across multiple business functions Experience managing complex and/or cross functional projects/initiatives Post secondary education in related fields Additional Information: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada.
