Position Title: Guest Services Attendant

Job Summary: The Guest Services Attendant is the first point of contact for our guests. This role is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and inclusive customer service both in person and by phone/email. Attendants process transactions, respond to inquiries, resolve concerns, and complete administrative tasks. As brand ambassadors for Chicopee, they help ensure that all guests enjoy a safe, welcoming, and positive experience.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Deliver friendly, efficient, and inclusive customer service at all guest touchpoints.
Maintain up-to-date certifications and attend all required pre-season and corporate training sessions.
Uphold safety standards and ensure guest well-being.
Accurately process lift tickets, rentals, memberships, program registrations, and gift certificates using the Northsoft system.
Manage personal cash float and reconcile at the end of each shift.
Stay knowledgeable about pricing, special events, promotions, and all Chicopee programs.
Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in person in a professional and courteous manner.
Uphold Chicopee’s values of inclusion, respect, and sustainability in all guest interactions.
Assist with other departments as required based on operational needs.
Key Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to engage with guests of all backgrounds.
Self-motivated, dependable, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable multitasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (11.3 kg) and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.
Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and respectful service delivery.
Knowledge of or experience in the recreation/tourism industry in customer service is an advantage.

Strong people skills—approachable, empathetic, and a good listener.
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and occasional shift coverage as required.
Must supply your own uniform in accordance with Chicopee’s uniform policy.
