What you will be doing: As a member of the ROCKWOOL Sustainability team, you will support in streamlining and enhancing the sustainability profile of ROCKWOOL products. This role involves digital data management of sustainability certifications, supporting internal and external stakeholders, and developing and maintaining internal databases related to building materials and systems' environmental performance. This role is perfectly suited for someone who motivated by sustainability best practices, wants to enhance their life cycle assessment skills and work in a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Support in the qualification of sustainability attributes of ROCKWOOL products against industry standards such as LEED, WELL, and others. Conduct research and analysis on sustainability trends and best practices. Research and maintain internal databases of environmental-related policies, codes, and standards pertinent to quantifying and qualifying the environmental performance of building materials and building systems. Use life-cycle assessment (LCA) tools and methodologies to assess the environmental performance of building materials and building systems related to the built environment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary data and insights. Assist the Sustainability team in various sustainability initiatives. What you bring: Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Architecture, or a related field. Strong interest in sustainability and environmental impact of building materials. Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and related methodologies. Experience using LCA tools such as One Click LCA is highly desired. Knowledge in green building standards such as LEED and WELL. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
