We are currently looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Welder with the primary responsibility of welding of plant equipment and fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities:
Interpret welding process specifications
Operate manual welding equipment
Operate flame-cutting equipment
Operate metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air, AOC)
Determine weldability of materials
Select filler rods
Perform post welding heat treatment
Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
Prepare jigs or set-ups for welding
Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Qualifications:
Registered Journeyman Welder
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Must have valid Class 5 driver license and clean abstract
3+ years of prior welding experience
Experience working in a plant environment is considered an asset, but not required
Must be willing to be clean shaven for work- a mask fit is required for employment
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm. Overtime and weekends may be required occasionally.
Applicants will be required to undergo pre-employment drug and alcohol testing and fit for work testing as part of the hiring process.
