Position Overview
Under the supervision of the Housekeeping Supervisor and Housekeeping Manager, you are responsible for daily cleaning, bedmaking, mopping, vacuuming and dusting of all guest rooms.
Wage: $20
Shifts: Full-time/Permanent
Key Responsibilities
Clean and prepare all arrival and stayover rooms assigned according to MTN House standards and timelines
Daily preparation and restocking of carts with appropriate amenities and linens.
Perform deep cleaning, public area cleaning, and other duties as directed by the housekeeping manager.
Collaborate with the front desk and maintenance teams to ensure arrivals and departures are properly prepared for, and room inventory is accurately reflected.
Requirements
6 months of previous experience is preferable but not required. 4 star experience is an asset.
Able to work well independently with little supervision and complete work at a 4 star standard.
Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time including walking, kneeling, bending, lifting, crouching, reaching, and pulling.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in teams if necessary including sharing tools and equipment.
