Job Summary
The IT Technical Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing IT solutions to meet the business needs of the organization. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing support, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. To ensure success as an IT Technical Analyst, the ideal candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations.
Responsibilities
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Design, implement, and maintain IT systems and applications
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IT solutions
Provide technical support and training to end-users
Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functionality
Document processes, procedures, and system configurations
Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements
Other duties as assigned
Technical Requirements
Two-year Technical Diploma focusing within the field of information technology
Previous experience within an IT environment
Microsoft and/or ITIL Certification would be considered an asset
Experience with technical software such as Office 365, Power Shell, Power BI and/or Azure would be considered an asset
Business Requirements
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Knowledge of IT systems, applications, and network infrastructure
Experience with system design and implementation
Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Cultural Requirements
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work both collaboratively and independently
