Payroll Accountant

We are looking for an exceptional Payroll Accountant to join our team in the Stony Plain location. We are looking for someone who is great with employees, benefit companies, compliance agencies, meticulous, and can balance competing priorities.
What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?
This position is part of the HO accounting and administration team, works closely with all branches.
Payroll for the company. Work experience on Dayforce payroll module would be an asset.
Working with benefit companies and meeting requirements of compliance agencies.
Supporting the accounting and administration team in expense statement reimbursements, vendor payments, etc. Ensuring documentation and authorizations which comply with the financial policies and procedures.

Preference will be given to individuals who:
Minimum grade 12 diploma with preferred office experience, post-secondary education in accounting/business admin or equivalent experience.
3-5 years’ work experience in a similar position.
Strong people skills, communication, and time management skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook are a required and considered an asset.
