The Mass Communications and Content Department is looking for a Senior Marketing Communications Advisor for a one-year temporary assignment within a squad dedicated to initiatives that promote the group sector. In a collaborative and constantly evolving environment, you will play a key role in coordinating, creating, and enhancing communications related to sponsorships and partnerships in the group sector (Group and Business Insurance and Group Retirement Savings). You will manage and lead strategic presentations and content developed as part of these initiatives. Reporting to the Team Lead, Mass Communications and Content, you will be assigned to a squad and support the Project Owner (PO). You will work closely with the Donations and Sponsorship Advisor, product experts, differentiation and integration teams, as well as external agencies and copywriters. More specifically, you will be required to: Act as a content expert by coordinating the creation and production of short and long-form content (panel discussions, executive speeches, long-format conferences) for speaking engagements within partnerships, sponsorships, and industry events. Ensure consistency between messages that are part of the strategy and convey them through various opportunities. Brief, guide, and support external writers and agencies; ensure the quality and relevance of deliverables. Prepare and support presenters/panelists (Q&A, coaching, rehearsals, adjustments). Leverage visibility opportunities that come with sponsorships in collaboration with the Donations and Sponsorship Advisor and maximize exposure. Ensure validations (legal, compliance, branding, etc.) with stakeholders and adherence to sound business practices. Actively participate in squad meetings. Analyze and monitor market trends. Stay alert to new high-visibility events for the business line that can showcase our content and demonstrate our expertise. Act as a resource person and coach for both colleagues and partners. Measure event performance and share outcomes (post-mortem, recommendations, measurement tools). What you bring to the table Bachelor’s degree in communications, advertising, journalism, marketing, or a related field A minimum of six years of relevant experience Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered Experience in content production related to sponsorships, major events, and 360 campaigns Experience collaborating with advertising agencies on large-scale campaigns and events Experience working in multidisciplinary teams Expert-level proficiency in written and spoken French Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients Knowledge of the financial sector, particularly Group Insurance and/or Group Retirement Savings Action oriented, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning, Strategic mindset #LI-Hybrid Trade Union (If applicable) At Desjardins, we believe in equity, diversity and inclusion.
