Summary
Shipping Coordinator is responsible to ensure inbound and outbound shipments are on time, accurate and processed with the highest level of accuracy. Responsible to coordinate all activities with the Shipping/Receiving team, logistics both on the docks and with carriers, setting up shipments. Maintain customer databases and internal AS400 system at the highest standard. Receiving from suppliers, process all receipts through scanning and coordinating storage in the warehouse. Responsible for all outbound paperwork, bills of lading, customs documents.

Job Duties
· Act as the main point of contact for dock operations and shipping/receiving by shift.
· Coordinate FIFO (First-In, First-Out) with receiving drivers.
· Ensure stock is placed in correct warehouse locations and monitored through warehouse audits.
· Prepare all shipping-related paperwork, including:
o Bills of Lading
o Customs Invoices
o USMCA Certificates
· Assist in enforcement of CTPAT procedures.
· Ensure customer shipments are completed on time by coordinating with various carriers.
· Arrange adequate transportation to meet daily and weekly customer schedules.
· Maintain accurate records for shippers, freight, ASNs, and other delivery-related information.
· Support delivery activities, including delivery rating.
· Use customer databases to respond to shortages and maintain container inventory.
· Ensure timely inbound receipts from suppliers and scan into inventory.
· Report and follow up on receiving discrepancies using internal forms.
· Maintain and track blind audits on inbound supplier receipts.
· Perform MRO receiving into the AS400 database.
· Collaborate with internal departments to resolve supplier and customer concerns.
· Serve as a key member of the physical inventory team.
· Provide vacation coverage for other Materials team members as needed.
· Assist with tasks assigned by Material Supervisors.
Requirements
High school Diploma/GED
1-3 years of previous work experience in Shipping and Receiving
Exceptional knowledge of Material and Inventory control techniques
Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically CMS 6.1 and Microsoft Office applications
Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detail
Enthusiasm for challenge and new initiatives are prerequisites.
Ability to manage multiple projects.

Available to work weekends and all shifts
