We are currently looking for a bilingual bid coordinator to join our Montreal head office to support our business development team within our civil infrastructure sector.
What You'll Do Here:
Overall responsibility for coordinating of bids and/or proposals (e.g. commercial terms, execution strategy, schedule, etc.)
Collaborate, work with (e.g. estimators and support personnel) to produce the required bid/proposal documentation in an orderly manner
Responsible for coordinating with management on how best to proceed with bid/proposal requests
Work with legal team to coordinate appropriate contract documentation
Coordinating with any Third Parties necessary to support Aecon’s bid/proposal
Coordinate input from partners
Coordinate, collect and assemble technical, commercial and required marketing documents
Coordinate with Aecon departments to obtain critical proposal material (where applicable)
Assist in developing formal presentations of proposals, upon being short-listed and called in to present directly to the client
Participate in P3 Industry forums, conferences, and functions where appropriate
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, consultants, partners and subcontractors and internal stakeholders
Coordinate all relevant documentation required for Project Handover
Coordinate communication to other Aecon divisions that assisted with the proposal or were carried in the estimate
What You Bring to the Team:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in the construction industry supporting bids and/or proposal teams
University Degree, College Diploma or Trades Background– or equivalent experience
Exceptional organizational and leadership skills
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Strong computer skills – MS Excel / Word / Project
