In this role, the individual will have the opportunity to work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all team goals and objectives are met, while developing a strong understanding of the external funding process. What you will be doing: Schedule all Global Grant and ISS Committee Meetings Attend all Global Grant and ISS Meetings and draft meeting minutes Maintain the Grants and Sponsorship Vnet Page Oversee the Grants inbox Ensure internal business teams have required documentation for all approved sponsorships and corporate memberships Oversee the global grant contracting and PO process, collaborating with cross-functional partners including contracting and finance, and work with head of Grants and finance to track budgets Conduct the initial review and assessment of all assigned CF sponsorship and corporate membership requests for compliance with relevant policies and procedures, including the Global External Funding Policy and Global Sponsorship and Corporate Membership SOPs. May expand into other disease areas, as needed. Identify areas for improvement for the external funding process Participate in compiling metrics and updating dashboard reports Oversee tasks related to the Grants Competitive Awards programs Assist in training related to the Request Management System and the external funding process Manage additional external funding projects and other tasks, as needed Your profile: Bachelor’s degree required Typically requires 2 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry or the equivalent combination of education and experience Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Strong project management skills Ability to identify issues and recommend solutions Proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) as well as online meeting platforms (Zoom) Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy, and conciseness Awareness of relevant guidelines including, but not limited to, medical and regulatory affairs, drug development, FDA and regulatory guidelines (e.g., PhRMA guidelines, OIG, AMA, ACCME, EACCME, Sunshine Act, etc.) and compliance around Grant Programs Familiarity with Request Management systems or other database systems What ICON can offer you: Our success depends on the quality of our people.
