Starting Salary: $56,000-$62,000 per annum

The Accounts Payable Administrator plays a crucial role in accurately maintaining accounts payable records, generating invoices, reconciling discrepancies, and resolving payment-related inquiries. They are required to collaborate with internal teams to streamline billing processes, monitor aging accounts, and support financial reporting by providing accurate and up-to-date accounts payable data.

In this role you will:
Receive, sort, code, and route invoices and supporting documents.
Ensure invoice information is accurate.
Match invoices to supporting documentation such as purchase orders, tickets or flight data.
High volume data entry.
Prepare and process electronic and manual payments.
Investigate invoice and vendor account discrepancies.
Assist team in month-end closing duties.
Follow all aspects of month end close activities to meet deadlines.
Assist with preparation of audit information and support.
Assist with credit card and expense processing.
Provide back up to Accounts Receivable to assist with flight invoices.
Handle special projects and other duties as assigned by Corporate Controller.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
High school diploma.
Two years of Accounts Payable experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working directly in accounting software.
Bonus points if you have:
Diploma or certificate in Business Administration or Accounting.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience.
Advanced analytical capabilities.
Airline industry experience.
Maintenance or inventory payables experience
Prior experience in a paperless workflow.
