Job Title: Senior Network Operations Engineer (Cloud) Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and reliable Senior Network Engineer with advanced hands-on expertise in routing, switching, public cloud deployments, and data center turn-ups. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of executing complex network projects, including BGP/OSPF configuration, and troubleshooting 802.1x using tools like Wireshark. Weekend availability for project execution and a high degree of accountability are essential. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the engineering, deployment, and support of complex network solutions spanning data center and public cloud environments. - Design and implement Google Cloud Architecture at enterprise scale \Develop Terraform modules for Google Cloud using Terraform Enterprise. - Test infrastructure as code using common testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Terraform Test) - Design and implement hybrid network architectures integrating on-premises and public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) infrastructures. - Deep understanding of VPCs (Virtual Private Cloud), subnets, firewalls, and routes. - Conduct packet analysis and deep troubleshooting using Wireshark and similar network diagnostic tools. - Hands-on experience with Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools for GCP resource automation. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop implementation and migration strategies, ensuring minimal downtime and robust network security. - Perform scheduled network changes and migrations during weekends and outside normal business hours as required. - Document network designs, procedures, and post-implementation reports. - Provide reliable support, on-call escalation, and root cause analysis for critical network incidents. - Demonstrate strong accountability, ownership, and attention to detail in all assigned tasks and projects. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications: - Advanced, hands-on engineering and deployment experience with: - Routing & Switching (Cisco, Arista, or similar) - Public Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) - Deep knowledge and practical expertise in BGP, OSPF, and other dynamic routing protocols. - Experience with automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Jinja etc) is a strong plus. - Proficiency with Wireshark for network packet analysis and troubleshooting. - Strong documentation and communication skills. - Reliable, accountable, and available to work outside standard hours as project needs dictate. Preferred Qualifications: - Relevant certifications (CCNP, CCIE, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified etc.) - Familiarity with network security, firewalls, and VPN technologies. Work Schedule: - Flexibility to execute projects and changes on the weekends and outside of standard business hours is a must.
