The role will officially be titled internally as Associate, Finance Planning Solutions but is being advertised under a different title to attract the appropriate candidate pool. As an Analyst, Workday Adaptive Planning, you will support the IT Enterprise Applications team in delivering and maintaining business solutions that enhance financial planning and analysis (FP&A) operations. You will work closely with the Finance team, senior analysts, and external vendors to support the Workday Adaptive Planning platform and other related systems. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to apply your financial systems expertise while quickly adapting to evolving business needs and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: System Administration & Support: Configure, maintain, and enhance the Workday Adaptive Planning platform and associated tools to meet business needs. Requirements Gathering: Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand planning and reporting requirements, translating them into clear, actionable system specifications. Testing & Deployment: Support testing activities including the development and execution of test cases to ensure high-quality implementations. Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain user guides, training materials, and system documentation to support adoption and knowledge sharing. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Finance and IT teams to deliver timely support and effective solutions. Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline financial planning processes and improve user experience through system enhancements. Cross-Module Integration: Collaborate on initiatives involving other Workday modules (e.g., Finance, HCM) to ensure data consistency and seamless integration. Initiative Management: Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and enhancement requests, balancing strategic goals with operational needs. Qualifications: Must-Have Qualifications: Education: University degree (computer science, Information Technology or Finance, Accounting preferred) or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role. Experience: 0–2 years of relevant experience in ERP or financial planning systems, or a combination of education and experience. Skills: Knowledge of ERP principles, SDLC, and data security management. Understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision. Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong analytical mind; demonstrated critical thinking and analytic skills with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Creativity and innovation in designing solutions and process improvements. Tools: Proficiency in MS productivity tools (e.g., Office, Excel, Outlook), Python, SQL Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Previous experience with ERP/EPM system or any similar financial accounting/planning system is strongly preferred Demonstrated working knowledge of Relational Database Management Systems, Multi-Dimensional Database, Python or other data processing / Automation tools. Exposure to EPM solutions such as IBM TM1/PA, Oracle Hyperion, SAP SAC, Tagetik, Board, Pigment, OneStream, Anaplan. Exposure to Workday reporting, integrations or other modules in Workday.
